We stay in May with a little group of friends. This tiny B&B is perfect for a stay for a boat trip through the 1000 Islands. The rooms were nice. Beds are comfortable and the little bathroom is ok and clean. Perfect for a short stay of one or two nights. You find a coffeemaker and a fridge! Parking free of charge and the boathouse restaurant is amazing. Little small village nearby.

Sweet B&B for a 1000 Island Excursion May 22, 2018

Two rooms with an adjoining deck overlooking the St. Lawrence river well-suited my wife and I and our relatives from England. We chose it because of its location; the ferry to Boldt Castle departs from their dock. Two restaurants will good wholesome food and an hospitable host in Colleen. What more could you want. Highly recommended.

Excellent Overnight Stay July 21, 2017

Just back from our weekend at Rockport. Can not say enough about the location or all the staff. Breakfast was on the patio overlooking the river. Lunch was at the Boathouse on their patio and then dinner at the pub. Something for everyone here. Very busy spot but everyone was on top of their game. Rooms were very clean and housekeepers were very sweet.

Beautiful Location and Amazing Hospitality July 30, 2016

Instead of Gananoque try driving a little further to the town of Rockport. It is well worth it. Situated right on the St. Lawrence River the Boathouse Country Inn is the place to stay. Ask for the upstairs and Room 10 which was quaint and we sat on our balcony overlooking the river watching the boats go by both before and after our dinner cruise (See other review for Rockport Boat Cruises). Even the bed was comfortable. We highly recommend Room 10 and this Inn as our overnight was great.

Friends had their wedding at The Boathouse Inn this past May 28th weekend. We were greeted warmly and the Inn itself was beautiful built in the 1800’s and very charming, clean and situated on the water at 1000 Islands. Our meals were one of the highlights of the weekend with a varied up scale menu, awesome food by a great kitchen staff and served by extremely pleasant servers. The calamari was expertly cooked and tender and could stand up to any of the best Markham restaurants.
